Strengthening Collaboration to Empower the Artisanal Sector: ARTISANEST at the SNOVA LinkUp Session

At ARTISANEST, collaboration is a key driver of sustainable impact in the artisanal sector. We believe that empowering artisans requires strong partnerships, shared expertise, and collective action.
In this spirit, we were proud to take part in the Monthly Meeting – LinkUp Session, organized in collaboration with SNOVA, and supported by a diverse network of institutional, educational, and development partners.

A Space for Collaborative Thinking

The LinkUp Session was designed as a strategic networking and collaborative thinking platform, bringing together stakeholders from different ecosystems — education, entrepreneurship, social innovation, and craftsmanship.

This dynamic space allowed participants to exchange ideas, align visions, and explore practical ways to support local development and inclusive economic growth, particularly within the artisanal sector.

ARTISANEST’s Role and Contribution

During the session, ARTISANEST shared its mission and field experience in empowering Moroccan artisans and cooperatives, with a special focus on rural and emerging regions such as Rhamna.

Our contribution highlighted:

  • The importance of market access and visibility for artisans

  • The role of collaboration and capacity building in strengthening cooperatives

  • The integration of digital tools, branding, and storytelling into traditional craftsmanship

  • The creation of sustainable, ethical, and fair value chains

ARTISANEST emphasized a collaborative approach that places artisans at the center of economic and social development strategies.

A Strong Network of Partners

This meeting was made possible thanks to the commitment and collaboration of several key partners who share the same vision for empowerment and development. We would like to acknowledge and thank:

Building Bridges Through Collaboration

The LinkUp Session demonstrated the power of cross-sector collaboration, connecting education, social innovation, entrepreneurship, and artisanal production.
Through open dialogue and shared reflection, participants explored how to transform ideas into concrete actions that benefit artisans and local communities.

This collaboration paves the way for:

  • Joint projects and pilot initiatives

  • Knowledge exchange and capacity building

  • Local and international networking opportunities

A Shared Commitment to Sustainable Impact

By joining forces, ARTISANEST, SNOVA, and all partners reaffirmed their commitment to sustainable and inclusive development. The meeting underscored the importance of building ecosystems where artisans are valued, supported, and connected to opportunities.

Looking Ahead

This LinkUp Session marks an important step in a growing collaborative journey. ARTISANEST looks forward to strengthening partnerships, expanding initiatives, and implementing concrete actions that will contribute to the long-term empowerment of the artisanal sector, especially in regions like Rhamna.
